The Portable Pivoting Side Table

Available exclusively from Hammacher Schlemmer, this portable desk sets up alongside a chair or bed and provides a sturdy, adjustable work surface over your lap. The platform tilts up to 45º forward and backward and adjusts to six different heights between 28 1/2" and 38 1/2", enabling optimal positioning of reading or writing material. The 28" L x 20" W work surface easily accommodates a 20" laptop, a hardcover book, or paperwork, and 1/3 of the platform remains flat to provide a stationary surface for a wireless mouse or writing implements. Four casters enable ease of portability and the 3"-high base slides under most chairs. Made from birch veneers with a rich mahogany finish.
