The Portable Sinus Relief System

This is the portable sinus irrigator that cleans nasal passages without taking up excessive space in luggage. Despite its compact size, this irrigator provides the same gentle cleansing of the sinus cavity that its larger cousins are capable of. Simply fill the device with distilled or tap water and use one of the 15 included saline solution packets to create a wash that clears the nose of allergens and other irritants. The system uses the same principles as jala neti, a millennia-old Indian yogic tradition in which congestion sufferers pour saline solution through nasal passages with a neti pot, removing mucus build-up caused by allergies, colds, the flu, or sinusitis. The pulsating stream of this unit facilitates the movement of sinus cilia--microscopic "hairs" that move like oars to rid sinuses of mucus--that are slowed by post-nasal drip and sinusitis.
