Unlike lesser models that allow only limited remote control of volume and next track, this unit accesses an iPhone or iPod through an extended user interface, pulling information, synchronizing, and showing the menu on the viewer's 8 1/2" LCD. The screen provides a 16:9 aspect ratio, providing an experience similar to watching a widescreen television. The thin film transistor screen enlarges and displays videos with precise clarity, providing 480 x 234 pixel resolution. It has a USB port and a memory card slot that accepts SD/MMC/MS cards, enabling the playback of videos, images, or MP3s. Includes remote.
