Product Story
These are the pure butter cookies made at La Sablésienne, a French-based biscuit factory using a generations old recipe. Known in western Europe as a Sablé, the all butter biscuit dates back to 1670 when an early version of it was served to the King’s brother by La Marquise de Sablé in the city named the same (Sablé sur Sarthe). La Sablésienne uses the finest natural ingredients: fresh butter, eggs from cage-free chickens, and flour. Arrives in a metal box with a floral design. Includes 64 cookies (16 all butter, 16 chocolate chip, 16 salty caramel chips, and 16 apricot chips).
