A porcelain coated water pan can be filled with beer, broth, or wine to add moisture to meat as it cooks, and the unit's airtight design allows it to maintain an internal temperature between 225-275 F for ten hours--ideal for slow-cooked barbecue. The cooking chamber removes with a flip of a latch, converting the unit into a standar d kettle grill for tailgating or grilling on the beach. Dual, 17"-diameter chrome-plated grill grates line the top and bottom of the cooking chamber, allowing you to separate meat and vegetables. Two doors allow you to easily add charcoal, wood chips, or adjust the food as it cooks, and the temperature gauge on the lid provides accurate readings.
