The flexible rubber board plugs into a USB port, and the included software memorizes where each piece has been moved in the event a game must be suspended. The software also provides hints during the game and enables you to save pictures of a game in-progress for play-by-e-mail games; it can replay an entire game on your computer's screen, allowing you to see where you made a fatal move.
