This is the light-up musical snow globe based on the iconic Christmas special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The stop-motion special, an annual TV institution since 1964, introduced Rudolph and such North Pole characters as Hermey, Clarice and Sam the Snowman, who are now hand-cast and hand-painted additions to this globe’s colorful diorama. A blowing mechanism swirls glittering snow inside the globe while Santa’s house, Christmas tree, lamppost and Rudolph’s nose light up. At the flip of a switch the snow globe plays Rudolph’s namesake carol. Each hand-numbered globe comes with a certificate of authenticity. Includes volume control and a 1-hour timer to shut off all power to the globe. Requires 3 AA batteries. 6¾" H x 7¾" W x 7¼" D (3 lbs.)
