The Smart Chip Toaster

This is the four-slice toaster with a microchip controller that lets you make perfect toast with push-button ease. Made by Breville, the 85-year-old Australian company who created the original sandwich toaster, this extra-wide model combines 1,600-watt elements with advanced electronics for superior browning and convenient innovative features. The two slots are extra-wide and extra-long to hold artisanal bread, bagels, English muffins, and pastries while the 12 browning settings provide precise selection of your desired level of toasting. A bagel button applies additional heat to the middle to perfectly toast the inside of a cut bagel without burning the outside, and a frozen button defrosts bread straight out of the freezer. The lift-and-look feature allows you to add a bit more heating in 30-second increments, or stop the toasting cycle entirely.
