The Smartphone Charging Emergency Weather Radio

This is the portable NOAA weather radio that doubles as a flashlight and charges smartphones in an emergency. Only available from Hammacher Schlemmer, it receives broadcasts from all NOAA weather stations and picks up emergency weather alerts for your area to warn you of hurricanes, tornados, or severe storms. Its LED flashlight brightens a dark room in case of power outages and the unit charges a device through its USB port (cable required). Its back-lit display and illuminated buttons provide easy readability and its glow-in-the-dark locator ring at the top makes it easy to find in total darkness. With a built-in LED beacon, headphone jack, alarm clock, and a digital tuner that receives AM and FM stations. Powered via an internal rechargeable battery, the radio also has a built-in solar panel, integrated ergonomic hand crank, and includes a mini-USB cable for recharging or DC power.
