The Solar Heated Shower

This is the portable shower that harnesses the energy of the sun for a hot and cleansing rinse-off when indoor utilities are not available. The bag’s built-in water tank holds 5.3 gallons of water that warms to as hot as 120 degrees after three hours of exposure to direct sunlight. An integrated thermometer lets you check the water temperature. The adjustable showerhead provides control over the water flow, and a built-in mesh pocket keeps soap and shampoo accessible. The bag has a durable fabric handle with a quick-release buckle for easy hanging from a sturdy tree branch or structure. The PVC and fabric bag rolls up for compact storage or for bringing along when kayaking, camping, or hiking. When empty, the shower kit measures 12 1/4" H x 6 1/4" W x 2" D and weighs 18 oz.
