This is the patented waterproof MP3 player that uses bone-conduction technology instead of unreliable earbuds to produce clear, consistent sound while swimming. Unlike typical music players with in-ear speakers, this innovative device places its speakers outside the ears and transmits sound via vibrations through the cheek and jawbones, resulting in sharp audio even when the head is submerged. Designed by a California firm co-founded by an Olympic swimming champion, the device has no tangling cords that can impede arm movement, and it clips to goggles and will not slip off, even during the backstroke and flip turns. The player stores 4 GB of music, audio books, and podcasts, with volume and track controls on the left speaker or via an OLED screen on the unit itself.
