The Towable Turbocharger

This is the buoy that suspends a tow rope above the water's surface to boost the performance of towable recreational watercraft. The buoy sits between two 30' lengths of the included 4,100 lb.-strength tow rope--one attaches to your boat and the other to your towable--keeping the rope free from your boat's wake during turns which keeps the line taut for faster towing speeds. It eliminates the spray and drag that typically results from a rope being dragged through the water, making it ideal for towables with low transom points; their front ends are kept high for faster speeds. The buoy also makes the tow rope visible to other boaters. Made with a heavy PVC bladder covered by a zippered 840-denier nylon cover.
