This durable walking stick instantly transforms into a tripod, providing an ever-ready, stable platform for taking pictures. Your camera attaches directly to its quick-release mounting system using either of two included 1/4" nickel-plated steel alloy 20-thread adapters. The top of an adapter screws into your camera's tripod mount and the bottom snaps onto the neodymium magnet fixed to the ball and socket mechanism at the top of the tripod, allowing you to precisely control pan and tilt. One adapter requires only light force to remove, and the other requires heavy-force, allowing you to attach devices up to 9 lbs. The walking stick is made of aircraft grade aluminum and stainless steel, and can extend to a maximum height of 62 1/2". The legs of the tripod are beveled, allowing them to fit together (secured by a hook-and-loop strap) to form the lower third of the stick. When fully-open, the tripod has a leg diameter of 22" and a maximum height of 57 1/2".
