The Vintage Grand Prix Chronograph

This is the chronograph wristwatch with vintage styling and functionality inspired by the corner-hugging derring-do of Grand Prix drivers from the 1960s. The watch’s tachymeter bezel is ideal for measuring lap speed and time when charging around the infamous Grand Hotel Hairpin. It also has two subfaces—the top works in concert with the sweeping second hand to track elapsed time up to 60 minutes while the lower ticks off seconds continuously. With two design elements from period watches—an antique distressed bronze finish that replicates the solid bronze cases of originals and a genuine leather strap. The watch uses luminescent coating on the hands and hour markings for easy time-reading, while accurate Miyota quartz movement provides reliable time-keeping. The face is protected by a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, and the 1 3/4"-diam. ion-plated 316L stainless steel splash-resistant case protects its inner workings. The 1"-wide leather strap fits wrists 5"-8 1/2" in circumference. Case 1.8" diam. x .38" thick. (3 oz.)
