The Water-Resistant Digital Television

Watch your favorite programs or sports events poolside with our 5" LCD television, which is completely water-resistant so it can withstand accidental splashes or surprise rain showers. Constructed of tough PVC plastic, the unit is sealed with a rubber gasket to protect the workings inside from rain and moisture. The screen is the latest in TFT (Thin Film Transistor) technology: a sandwich-like structure in which liquid crystals fill the space between two specially constructed glass plates. The result is a high-resolution digital picture superior to that of traditional tube televisions. The TV casing integrates a carrying handle and a stand with bottom-mounted speaker; side controls adjust volume, brightness, and VHF or UHF channel selection . A built-in telescopic antenna pulls in plentiful stations, and a side control panel has ports for external antenna, earphones, A/V, and AC (use of the ports in this panel compromises water-resistance; when plugged into AC, unit should be kept away from water).
