The Water Wheel

This is the 8 1/2'-high inflatable wheel that enables its occupant to walk on water. Built with sturdy reinforced PVC that defies punctures, the wheel consists of 16 inflatable 10"-diameter spokes that connect to eight equally sized treads, forming an enclosure that accommodates a person up to 6 1/2' tall. The treads are separated by 18" L x 24" W permeable vinyl panels that spread the wheel's and its rider's weight over a wide surface area that enables buoyancy. A rider simply grasps the two handles built into the wheel's hub and walks in-place—the treads and panels engage the water for forward or backward movement. Every seam is hot-air sealed for strength, and the PVC is treated to block damaging UV rays. Inflates in 15 minutes with an electric air pump (not included).
