The Whole Room or Personal Heater

This is the space heater that provides room-filling warmth or direct, personal heating. On its highest setting, the heater generates 1,500 watts that enable the infrared heating element to warm rooms up to 256' sq. The touch of a button reduces the wattage in half, limiting the unit’s heat to its immediate area—ideal for warming you up without affecting another person in the room who might already be comfortable. In tests by the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute, the heater elevated ambient temperature by 17° F on the personal setting and 6° F on the whole room setting, eliminating the need to turn up a home’s thermostat. The heater’s fan has pitched blades that create an air circulation vortex that distributes warmth more efficiently across a wider area to eliminate cold spots left by regular heaters.
