Product Story
Made by the original manufacturer LIP, this is the replica of the renowned T-18 wristwatch presented to Sir Winston Churchill to honor his service to France in WWII. Continuing a tradition that began in 1807 when Napoleon was offered a LIP watch, a gold T-18 was awarded to "The British Bulldog" in 1948 by General Charles DeGaulle (who himself wore a LIP watch). Faithful in every detail, this watch features the identical art deco rectangular face and smaller dial for seconds that were hallmarks of the original T-18. It has been updated with an accurate Swiss quartz movement, the stainless steel case has a polished brass ion-plated finish, and the face is protected by a scratch-resistant mineral crystal. Splash resistant. Dark brown leather band. Face: 1 1/2" H x 1" W x 3/4" D. (3 oz.)
