LCD screen, eliminating the need to constantly check the television or radio for weather information. Once turned on, the unit automatically receives ZIP-code-specific AccuWeather? forecasts sent via a nationwide wireless network, and it automatically updates if moved to a new part of the country. In addition to temperature, the display shows detailed weather icons indicating snow, clouds, sun, or rain, as well as expected highs and lows, and you can toggle between five local cities in your region at the touch of a button. For an additional subscription fee, the monitor can be upgraded via Internet connection to display forecasts around the world or for any specific ZIP code in the United States.
