Product Story
This wireless, waterproof speaker produces mellifluous sound by operating over an FM frequency that avoids interference from cordless phones and microwaves. Its transmitter connects to an iPod or other MP3 player, stereo system, television, or portable CD player through its 3.5mm jack and broadcasts to the speaker from up to 100' away. It has a 12-watt subwoofer augmented by an acoustic bass chamber that produces powerful low range sounds while the 3-watt tweeter provides accurate high frequencies. Speaker requires eight C batteries; transmitter requires four AA batteries (both can plug into AC using the two included adapters). Includes an RCA cable and a 3.5mm stereo cable. Speaker: 7 3/4" Diam. x 13 1/4" H. (5 1/2 lbs.) Transmitter: 3 1/4" L x 3 1/2" W x 2" H. (4 oz.)
