This is the necktie that acquires its woodgrain pattern honestly because it comes from real wood. Reclaimed, re-shaped, and re-finished from California Redwood salvaged from tunnels, bridges, and barns in the Bay Area, the tie looks like one continuous piece, but is actually 12 segments strung on a length of elastic cord. So while this necktie imparts a dressy, distinctive look, it won’t prevent the wearer from enjoying soup in a sourdough bread bowl or even twiddling it like Oliver Hardy. The all-natural tie may exhibit vertical or horizontal grain, it could even have more than one knot—like the non-conformist who wears it, each is unique. Adjustable elastic cord fits most neck sizes. Finished with Linseed oil to highlight and protect the wood grain. 21" L x 2 3/4" W x 1/4" D. (3 oz.)
