Weinman and considered one of the finest examples of U.S. coinage, the Walking Liberty commemorates those born between 1934 and 1947. For numismatists born between 1948 and 1963, the Benjamin Franklin depicts the Liberty Bell and is forged from 90% silver. The John F. Kennedy half-dollar has been minted since 1964 and was released three months after the president’s assassination. The selected coin’s obverse is displayed on the hinged brushed-metal cover that opens to reveal the watch’s face. The pocket watch has a sweeping second hand and elegant roman numerals.
