International LEGO Day

International LEGO Day

January 28th was International Lego Day. The date celebrates the day when the original patent for the now ubiquitous LEGO brick was filed in 1958.

Today, 66 years later, LEGO has become one of the most iconic brands in the world. In addition to its massive portfolio of brick sets (more than 20,000 and counting including LEGO Friends, LEGO City, LEGO DUPLO, LEGO Technic, and licensed partnerships), LEGO also has made films, released video games, and opened theme park resorts.

To celebrate the classic building brick company and the simple toy that has inspired generations of creativity, we invite you to visit Hammacher Schlemmer’s LEGO store.

Our selection of LEGO products spans all ages, genders, and interests, guaranteeing something for everyone.

Fans of popular movie and TV franchises can find LEGO versions of their favorite characters from iconic franchises such as Star Wars, Disney, Marvel, and Harry Potter.

Little ones can enjoy simple LEGO DUPLO sets that help them develop fine motor skills while standard LEGO sets enable children (or adults) to build complete communities of homes, cities, and hotels.

In addition, older LEGO fans can get their build-on with sets that feature floral artwork, classic car models, and LEGO-themed jigsaw puzzles.

However, you decide to enjoy the world’s favorite building brick brand, take a moment to honor a company that values imagination, engineering, and family fun.

Just be careful not to step on them while barefoot, in which case, you may want to spend some time with The Light Therapy Pain Relieving Slippers.
